Why Bayfront in Lake Nona?
Lake Nona's newer construction means most of the doors we see here are higher-end impact-rated systems installed within the last decade or two, which need a different service approach than an older patio door. We know that hardware and diagnose issues without pushing an unnecessary full replacement.
Newer Homes, Different Problems
Most of Lake Nona was built in the last fifteen years, in communities like Laureate Park, Northlake Park, Eagle Creek, and the neighborhoods around Lake Nona Town Center. Newer doors do not usually have worn-out parts. Instead, the problems we see are about adjustment and installation:
- Doors that were never fully adjusted after install and are hard to lock
- Construction dust, grout, and debris left in the track
- Builder-grade rollers that wear early under a heavy impact panel
- Panels that settle slightly as the house settles in its first few years
These are usually quick fixes. Adjusting roller height, cleaning the track, and aligning the lock keepers takes care of most of them.
Warranty Considerations
If your home or door is still under a builder or manufacturer warranty, check the terms before scheduling a repair. Some warranties require their own service provider. Once a door is outside its warranty, or for issues the warranty does not cover, we are happy to help.
